Postcards is a memorial for 9/11 victims that were residents of Staten Island. The memorial features 274 silhouette profiles adjacent to granite placards with names and personal information. The centerline of the memorial points towards the World Trade Center site in Manhattan.

Nearby is the Staten Island September 11 First Responders Memorial, which honors those who died after 9/11 mostly for health reasons originating from service at the World Trade Center site. It is along the water’s edge in front of Postcards.
